An outdoor multimedia musical comedy, this story is based on the internet symbol of the firefox and its counterpart, the Japanese folktale trickster fox, Kitsune.
The characters in F.C.S.S.T.L. dance and sing their way through a large-scale dog park in the desert. In this landscape, the firefox confronts its identity while exploring mythology, folk tales, chat rooms, feng shui, dialogues of revolution and authentic movement. The costumes are based on the anthropomorphism of domestic animals and the characterization of animals in traditional musicals. The musical composition derives from various music making platforms throughout the age of the computer.
