Tracy Tynan will take a road trip between Joshua Tree and Albuquerque and back, collecting business cards from people and businesses along the way.
After amassing the cards, she will hold a workshop in Joshua Tree, in which all are invited to help construct a fractal sculpture. Fractals are fun to build and can involve anyone from young teenagers to seniors. The final installation will include a fractal sculpture and a map of Tynan’s road trip, with photos documenting all the people and places where she collected the business cards, and will be on display at the Tamarind Institute in Albuquerque.
